Madhav Shikshan Kendra, Javhar

Javhar is a small region in the extreme interiors of Maharashtra.

Keshav Srushti has set up schools that not only gives you academic knowledge but also places equally emphasis on imparting lessons to lead a fulfilled life. These schools, termed as ‘Shiksha Kendras’ are centers for students to develop and fuel curiosity for learning new things, understanding the importance of sports, gaining knowledge of Indian history & culture, and above all their role as citizens of this country.

Scan Holdings (P) Limited contributed to the implementation of this idea of ‘School of Life’ with 11 such centers by the name ‘Madhav Shikshan Kendra’ in 11 different villages of Javhar region of Maharashtra. These 11 kendra are able to support 228 children of different ages and class level.
This project is fully run by Keshav Shrushti, a not-for-profit organization that stands tall as a hub of innovative and versatile educational, irrigational and social projects aimed at creating socially conscious leaders and dedicated citizens of the country.
