Corporate Social Responsibility

We, at Scan Group of Companies, believe that progress is achieved in true sense only when our actions are able to impact everyday lives of people. Little efforts on our end can mean a big change for some people. In an attempt to keep contributing to that change, Scan has been supporting causes and projects that are run in the most unnoticed and remote villages in India. One such project is Mokhada.

  • Located in the interiors of Maharashtra, Dakhnepada is a small village. The region is so remote that it takes around 45 minutes of walking to reach the last concrete road, crossing the river and mountainous terrains.

    Palghar is a district in Vikramgad region of Maharashtra. The local community from this village has generations of expertise in the art of making a large variety of products from Bamboo.

    Mokhada is a 100% tribal belt located 200 kms from Mumbai. The project is run by Parivartan Mahila Sanstha, a Not-for-profit organization established and run by women, with their key focus on ‘Empowering Women’.
